I think you were lucky to live down there. I lived in French Quarter for 3 years and there's something so absolutely special about that part of the country and the people there. I worked with people who had lost their hones, right after Katrina, and were dealing with all kinds of insurance and contractor issues. There's a special spirit there and I understand after a thousand people that washed out to sea!

Wish LA got more federal $ to protect the wetlands. So much more important (to me) than a third loop around Houston
