My wife is also a painter, and is very, very good - especially when she keeps to her lane. She has sold a surprising amount of work, and, in what I think is a testament to her ability, was recruited by an art college in Piits. as she was finishing high school. For that college to seek her out and find her in a tiny town in WNY was quite a compliment, if nothing else. She was grateful, but declined; she LOVES art, but she was also drawn to social work, which is what she spent her working years doing...and, she felt that one day, she just wouldn't feel like painting an apple.
A long way to walk to give this some context. You are far better at water colour that she is, and I know what a difficult medium it can be for a lot of painters. She fared far better with a foray into alcohol inks, but even that was a sideline distraction from her real genre. The crispness and delineation you are able to achieve with these paints is remarkable...and my wife and I know at least a little about art.
You keep doing you! Your are clearly gifted in this arena, and might well be in other areas too, but this work is amazing, and is all I have to go on ATM.
