Does Anyone Know What "Private Listing" In E-bay Means.... [View all]

I wanted to see how bidding was going on an item I'm interested in and all the bidding on this item indicates "privat listing". I want to learn what that means as I want to know what I'm up against if I bid on this item. Any help would be appreciated.
