FBI releases new videos of 2021 D.C. pipe bomb suspect, as case remains unsolved

33. This clears up a problem with my own pet theory....

.... Because of the timing, targets and the way this was executed, my pet theory is that a black-block type anarchist individual or cell was responsible.

The one fact that was counter indicative to this theory was the speculation that the suspect was caring a cell phone and actually took it out and consulted it at one point. There was no cell phone trace for the suspect, which aligns with my speculation, but an anarchist would not carry a cell phone during such an operation.

In this most recent narrative, the suspect is now represented as taking out a pare of glasses, standing on tip-toe, and surveying the area - not using a cell phone. Examining the video sequence it look like this is the correct interpretation. It fits in with the absence of cell phone data, and it indicates a more careful approach to opsec.
