Wasn't it a Republican talking point during the election that Biden and Harris were, somehow, forgetting about Western NC and FEMA wasn't helping them? The press loved to talk about it even though it wasn't true but often they left that part ambiguous... unintentionally I'm sure.

Now am I to understand that not helping them is a good thing?

We are getting played.
