Strikes me as a petty move vice one due to lack of space. What seconds this thought is the fact the House currently stands in recess until next week. This well could have waited until the Former House Speaker returned from California.

Hopefully Former Speaker Pelosi has assistants back in DC who can respond to this petty order.
