1. The Southern States elect Republicans.....

to keep their taxes nice and low. However, since it costs money to run the government, for schools schools, to pave roads, to provide law enforcement etc. the money has to come from somewhere. Their Republican lawmakers keep coming up with these great ideas for revenue streams; Yankee garbage, Yankee shit, anything the Yankees don't want in their own backyards.

Of course very few Southerners know about this "sweet deal" until something out of the ordinary happens. But every time they take a breath of that ripe Yankee sewage they can say to themselves, "low taxes, low taxes", while their State becomes one big toxic waste site.
