Gröfaz is a derogatory German acronym for Größter Feldherr aller Zeiten ("Greatest Field Commander of All Time&quot , used during World War II to mock Adolf Hitler and his megalomania. Coined around 1943, it satirized Nazi propaganda and the party's love for abbreviations.
