told anybody from embarrassment, but got to be First Chair. A scary dude with a goatee who had a jazz band asked me to join, and I said, all flustered, "I only know how to play marches!"

Like with the bandas above, I didn't know clarinets could do that! Much less my body. And have hated jazz ever after.
