OH SWEET JESUS NO, DON'T SAY THAT! MAGAt Moses Mikey says November could bring the "end of Trump's presidency" [View all]

"If we lost the midterms — heaven forbid, if we lost the majority in the House — it would be the end of the Trump presidency in a real effect."

This comes as polling indicates clearly that Republicans are bleeding voters ahead of the midterms, and as Trump puts forward policy plans that Republicans privately fear could blow up in their faces with weeks to go before the vote.

It also comes as Trump has worked to interfere in state election administration, including a push for Republicans to redraw congressional districts to give their party extra seats, demands for voting data around the country, and a raid on election offices in Fulton County, Georgia seemingly based on ongoing conspiracy theories about the 2020 election results.

Johnson, for his part, has been left in a weak position, according to political analysts, as Trump has vowed to carry out much of his agenda without even asking the House GOP caucus for legislation backing it up.
