If they get "too radical" the media either won't have them on or will label them as radical or somehow punish them for not staying in their designated lane.
Or maybe it's their large donors who don't want to rock the boat.
Honestly I think pretty much all democratic politicians would love raising hell if they could. Something or someone is holding them back.

It's truly an embarrassing journalistic fail that the media isn't constantly describing him as a convicted felon

It was a fail on the democrats, too, IMO. We should have started calling him Felon 34 the day of the conviction.
