Thursday

the contractor told me they were required to check for lead, DUE TO THE ERA when the house was built.

In other words, they didn't KNOW, but facts about the house made it HIGHLY PROBABLE.

(yes, they found lead paint.)

So perhaps the wording should be to ask whether there was any testing done for presence of asbestos, and given the probability it was found, what was done to remediate?
