Only been at the South Rim which is where I wanted to be.

Losing something(s) of a treasured area/place is a sad/sorrowful experience! This sounds like like a helluva a lot! 😞
Hopefully no one was physically hurt!

Any spot along that amazing canyon is a wonderous experience! Was there July '79.
