10. They buy 100 acres, get subsidy's to let 95 go fallow, then build 2 million dollar "Frontier" homes on 5 acres

It's happening around me like crazy. Many farmers are selling of 1-5 acre plots to developers to cash in and pay off what their crops cant pay also. Its crazy these mini mansions cropping up everywhere out here in the country and I mean everywhere. 2 story 8k sq footers with 3k sq ft 4 car garages. There usually a brand new 90k dollar F350 crew cab diesel and a 125k dollar Landrover in the drive because you know, they're roughing it. Also usually a 150k dollar Kubota with a front end loader to plow their garden. At least 1 or 2 10k dollar Camo'd utility vehicles, once again, because they're roughing it lol. The ones with a container out back (not a rusty one either) you know those people are full on preppers and that containers stocked with ammo because here in Indiana you can have 100k rounds (but it has to be "safed" in something like a container). I know people who have that much along with over 100 weapons.

All of this shit on 1 to 2 acre plots right in the middle of a 500 acre soybean field thats not theirs and is usually being farmed by a factory farm. Nary a tree in sight.
