Should Democrats embrace a clear multilevel immigration reform policy. [View all]

I find it literally stupid (nothing new with the Trump administration) that we're throwing out hard working people, as well as some of smartest people simply for crossing the border illegally to be in this country.

So, Republicans insist that the mandatory punishment be at least deportation. They couldn't come up with some sort of penance sentence, where you can apply a punishment and then a chance to get in line. The BLOCKHEADS can't summon the mental ability to come up with something that can be a minor punishment which could be to our advantage like public service for a select time to amend for the illegality of crossing the border. Then upon completion that they can apply and get in line for citizenship.

Of course, by multi-level, I mean there is a category for dreamers, on up to jail and deportation for criminals. I don't think underage people who were brought here without even knowing what was going on, need any punishment phase.
