5. I'd refuse to testify.

When I was a practicing mental health professional, I always refused court orders
to testify or hand over all my records about a patient.

I told the judge you can throw me in jail, I don't care.
I am not coughing up the info you want on any of my patients.
Now or ever. End of story.

No judge ever sent me to jail or fined me, etc.
But I was fully prepared to go to jail over the matter.
