The post below is going viral. Its been attributed to Liz Cheney, apparently by mistake, but it appears it was actually written by a Dr. Pru Lee.
Dear Democratic Party
I need more from you.
You keep sending emails begging for $15, while were watching fascism consolidate power in real time. This administration is not simply a different ideology. It is a coordinated, authoritarian machine with the Supreme Court, the House, the Senate, and the executive pen all under its control.
And you?
Youre still asking for decorum and donations. WTF.
That wont save us.

This is the blueprint!

I lose thousands and you want $20? for WHAT?...to send a strongly worded letter? fuck that! People are being dissapeared and probably even dying and they are playing like it's 'business as usual"
I understand there's such a thing as decorum and procedure...but when the opposition plays with no rules, you GOTTA counter with the same strategy!!! ugh.. infuriating.

That is why we need leadership with fire in thier belly, who recognize that these are different times, that when the other side is willing to violate law and common decency, you cannot fight them with decorum and fairness. You need to be able to wallow in the mud. This is a democracy existential fight. Schumer, Jeffries, Connolly, still think reaching across the aisles can work - no the GOP has shown time and again, they preferred power over constitution

(33,647 posts)the gall. They're too used to doing their jobs. The Republicans have no problems doing their jobs, because they don't have to do a thing. Their legislation is written for them, by the industries that need it passed. So funny. No one gives a damn about anything but, their disdain for the Party they do not bother to elect.

(33,647 posts)email I get is often astounding. The only Democrat I've recently had to unsubscribe from was AOC. I do not blame her for wanting to raise money to continue to hold her seat but can't get money from me that I don't have. The endless harranguing over unwanted emails? Never let a complaint about the entire Democratic Party go by or anyone who depends on donations to help Democrats win elections pass without pissing all over all of them. Apparently, especially true if you live in a red state and gave zero Democratic representation. Complain loudly and often about the way this country has been conducting itself since Jimmy Stewart and Mr. Smith goes to Washington.

It's a real plan.

I thank Bernie and AOC for setting up the popular support. Now, let's organize.
We can capitalize on the massive failures that the clowns and their clones are setting up, AND those who will bear witness to abuse.

Short:
1. A devastating cyber hack, thanks to our cyber-security being gutted and run by people concerned over DEI and little else.
2. A physical attack is made on the US, given its new clowncar security by cronies with no expertise. (and again, far more concerned about DEI than physical security)
3. Someone with information (as in Trump's escapades with Epstein) blows up the charade.
Business as usual is gone.
AND, I already posted a digital safety guide. I haven't added to it, because FIRST STEPS FIRST, and everyone needs to grasp the basics.
I'll post the link(s) here shortly.
