On June 14th, Give Trump an Unhappy Birthday - Robert Reich

The U.S. was founded in opposition to monarchy. On June 14th, let's protest Trump's authoritarian takeover and send a peaceful reminder that we do not bow before kings in America. Join No Kings Day protests at nokings.org. - 06/12/2025.

Man, I love Robert Reich!

I went to hear him speak in 2014 and he was great. If you ever have the opportunity to hear him, please be sure to attend. You will not be sorry.

Though it seems like none of these "tours" ever come to my area. Though I did luck out a couple of years ago, got to see Al Franken on his tour, he spoke for over two hours to a sold out crowd - Albany, NY - with only a microphone, a stool and three glasses of water. He mostly talked about his time in the Senate and he was great. He got a standing ovation at the end and lots of shouts for him to run again.

I'm still pissed off over that whole BS and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand who railroaded him. I will never forgive and forget that as long as I live.

Like I said, there were so many voices urging him to run again. Though he is back living in New York now.
