Adam tells a story of someone coming up to him during the ACA debate and asking why he supported ACA. After he explained his reasons, the person essentially said, "If people can't afford healthcare, why should we pay for it?"

That type of thinking is so foreign to me, I cannot conceive anyone thinking that way. It breaks my brain.

Adam Schiff tells it plainly and simply.

This is a divide NOT between the rich and the poor but between the caring and the selfish.

And it's scary to see how so many MANY selfish people there actually are in this country, willing to crawl out from under their usual rocks and DECLARE that very fact.

(They never think deeply enough to realize their cutting their OWN throats as well.)
