In a turn of events that makes American seem like a banana republic, Trump's DOJ lawyers tell a judge in a new court filing that even though they wrongfully deported Abrego Garcia to El Salvador in violation of a court order, and even though they are paying the government of El Salvador to keep him in prison there, it is "not possible" for the United States to arrange for Garcia's return to the United States?!
This video reviews this now low for Trump's DOJ. - Glenn Kirschner - 04/05/2025.

those they send there are relinquished to their government or prison system who now own them. In other words, they might have to buy him back. If they did so, they have no idea what condition he's in AND he could sue them to hell and back.
They do not want him back.

required approval of Congress? If so, when did that occur? When did the payment occur? HOW was the payment made? Wire? bank transfer? personal delivery and if so, by who? Where is a copy of the Agreement?

Thanks for the thread Rhiannon
