For many who are doing quite well, it is merely a matter of moving a few things around and delaying some major purchases--like second homes or the like. They just can't relate. There are some on DU that in that category--good for them--but I hope I don't see a repeat of some very insensitive comments around those fortunate to have fully funded 401Ks versus those panicking over dismantled social security and the like-- that we saw a month or so back.

I do think most DEMS DO get it--including the more fortunate.
