Many people express themselves touching, and its not meant to be rude, or sexist, or anything evil, its just the way they are, so he may not have intended to be a male chauvinist by doing that, I don't know the guy so he may be a male chauvinist, but I just wanted to clarify that some people need the contact, not sure why but its not intended in a bad way. I have seen many times men together and one of them interrupts the one from talking by touching his arm, the one talking understands, quiets, and allows him the chance to talk...Latin people are very touchy, same with Europeans, and once again, they don't mean bad by doing it.

We all have friends who are touchy, when they talk to us they touch our shoulders, or our arms, it is the way they are and they don't even know it.

Anyway, she was right in telling him to not touch her again, it is her right and she exercised it perfectly.
