Trump lies about everything. In October 2024, he claimed to not know that Jan 6 insurrectionists had guns. There are dozens of people connected to him who he has claimed to not know once they were accused of or charged with something bad or illegal. Every single time he's said that he's been lying. And he lied here too. He might not have know about it when it happened, but by the time he was asked about it, he definitely knew about it.
