Do you believe this was the only time they used their personal phones? If they have been doing this for a while, Russian, Chinese, and probably a few other intelligence agencies will have had time to compromise Signal. By now they are reading messages in real time. That could be extremely dangerous.

In the simple (not) everyday take-offs and landings the pilot puts life and limb in danger. Then you load their plane with bombs and fire them off to bomb Yemen. They have all heard the story of this intelligence breach by now. What do you suppose is going to be on their minds the next time they go on that mission? You already know what they are thinking. They wonder if they are flying a one-way trip to an ambush? That is a good way to take the edge off of anyone. And of course this translates to every other branch of the services where men and women go into danger.
Just as a note, there are many fully qualified women flying those FA18 Super Hornets on and off those carriers. Hogsbreath and company will make sure they are the last women that will ever fly those airplanes.
