1. I was out n about today and met a real nice couple from Montreal. They seemed confused so I offered to help.

After my explanation, complete with little hand gestures because of the language barrier, I asked where they were from and my heart seemed to go out to them imagining all sorts of things I’ve read about lately. They were here for 2 weeks and then “never” and I gathered they were either snowbirds or part time residents as we have a lot of Canadians here in SW Florida. We walked to the parking lot and they drove a big truck and I figured they were gonna pack up some belongings to take home as they might not be back. I can’t stop thinking of them and hope they make it home safely. Never dreamed that I have the kind of thoughts that come to my mind lately. Very distressing

3. We get a lot of Canadian visitors during "tourist season" here, mainly Quebec and Ontario, I'm wondering if we'll see

Them this year. And my cousin and his wife are in Canada right now, they planned on visiting Montreal and Ottawa. I'm wondering how they made out, they're planning visiting here on their way home. I have two female cousins who I'm close to and they feel the same way that we do, but I'm not sure of this cousin's politics, he's in Colorado and doesn't visit like his sister does. She was freaking out because Boebert was elected as her Rep.
