Undermining Justice: The Danger Of Politicized Language - Andrew Weissmann

In today’s video, I’m tackling an issue that’s flown under the radar but deserves our attention. It’s not about the ongoing legal back-and-forth of an important case involving deportation under the Alien Enemies Act—it’s about the politicized language coming from the Attorney General of the United States.

When a judge rules on the application of a statute, and finds the government cannot properly rely on it— is that really the same as supporting terrorists, as she said after the court ruled

I’m not here to litigate the merits of the case or debate constitutional authority. Instead, I’m focusing on why language like this matters—how it risks undermining the judiciary, eroding respect for the rule of law, and setting a precedent we should all be concerned about. It’s an issue that could shape how we view due process and judicial independence going forward.

This is a conversation we need to have, as we cannot normalize this phenomenon.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch. - Andrew Weissmann - 03/17/2025.

I certainly agree, he understands justice and the law which TFG and his minions have no knowledge or understanding of. Rhiannon12866 Mar 18 #2

Nor to they care, they figure that they're "in charge" now and can do whatever they want - including violating both laws and norms. *sigh*
