2. Kinda hard to believe Dr. Oz will crack down on Medicare Advantage "upcoding" fraud, when he pushed those plans.

Wish I could be there to have cake with you but I don't get out much these days. Republicans are dangerous to everyone's health and serenity.. Their selfishness, meanness and lack of humility is like a cancer on our whole society..

Perhaps more than the threats of war and an economic crash, I very concerned about the mental and social damage they're having on our collective psyche. By inducing mass stress on the public and under-funding mental health care and other basic social services, Republicans will drive millions of Americans to drug and alcohol abuse, or worse.

I'm really missing the kitchen table chats with all my old recovery friends, most of which have died. And, I'll never forget having coffee many years ago with the 'ole boy who was the guide at Dr. Bob's house in Akron. I stopped there on a weekday on the way home from a nasty, freezing cold steel mill job in Loraine, Ohio. Lots of precious memories like that come flooding back and they help me stay sane.

Al this stress makes me very grateful for the simple tools of life I learned early on in sobriety when I was traveling non-stop and attending meetings all over the USA. That all started 35 years ago this September! Can's believe I survived the terms of two Bushes and now trudging through the second term of TFG.
