Early in the video, Ben said that Trump believed that by killing the Ayatollah, Iran would capitulate. Surely Israel knew better and I have read that it was Israel who fired the missile that killed the ayatollah.

Trump might have known better than to believe that the death would cause Iran to fall, but is just saying that killing the ayatollah was the key in order to hide from Americans the fact that this will be an ongoing war against many layers of government in Iran.
