were incoherent.
He also said Canada will never be the 52nd state.
At that point I felt I was correct with his incoherent responses.
He corrected himself, but it was too late in my opinion.

The governor can appoint Senator. Then the next election, the voters elect for the interim time remaining.
Or appoint an interim Senator and announce a special election, prior to the next election.
A (D) governor would obviously appoint another (D).

Then-Governor Paterson appointed my NY-20 Rep. to take her place. And then there was a Special Election to replace our Rep. which I worked on since the Democrat was local and very good. So it is up to the governor to replace a senator, but I don't know about removing one unless the senator chooses to resign which Senator Fetterman has no intention of doing.

He said 52nd twice
It was about 10 seconds later, in the middle of the next sentence when he corrected himself.
