Took a puddle-jumper from Bangor to Boston in 2010. Sat in opposing aisle seats on the flight. Had a great convo with him, the entire flight down.

The closest I've gotten to one of my senators was at a campaign rally which was standing-room-only because former President Clinton was there - also a brilliant speaker!
