The federal agency that regulates environmental chemicals is the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Trump and Musk have already fired hundreds of EPA workers. If Vance is so concerned about declining toxic masculinity in Bros, he should do something to reduce all the toxic chemicals in the environment.

Really? How is that so?
Being a 78 year old man, who grew up in the era of strong male depictions all across society, I think Vance is completely, totally, and utterly full of shit, right up to his eyeballs.
It's the "good old days" of a culture where males dominated everything that Vance longs for. This isn't about culture producing male androgynous idiots, it's about men discovering that women make up half of the human species, and acknowledging/accepting that women have a place in culture beyond the idea of "barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen".

For Vance, that's like being castrated; having their male power diminished. But any strong, vibrant culture recognizes the contributions of women to that culture. Essentially Vance is defining himself as a male chauvinist; believing in the superiority of men over women.
Any retreat from that causes the pathetic reaction that the video clip above shows.

Since Musk was given all presidential authority by the cognitively declining Trump, he's got his choice of American Nazis to choose from as his delegated VP. To see Vance without his beard is to see a chubby guy who was kicked around, verbally and physically, in school (Come to think of it, both he and Tucker C. have a tendency to look like chubby little sissy men. Tucker, evidently, works at keeping the chubby rich-kid fat off -- but check out some of his pre-Fox photos. Vance, like Hitler before him, chose facial hair as a way to hide his weak and notably un-Aryan visage. He chose the beard because it hides the Pillsbury Dough Boy double-chinning he suffers from.)
