That he would bomb Gaza into ruins, and Trump agreed to push for this.

Netanyahu had nothing but praise for TFG, saying he was the best friend that Israel ever had, no matter that President Biden worked hard for a cease fire and it hurt him at the polls. However, it was in Netanyahu's best interest to keep that war going to stay in office - He remained in office as long as there was fighting, but he's incredibly unpopular and if they achieved peace he'd likely be replaced. How many lives were lost in the meantime?

knew the extent of the devastation. From aerial shots now that the fighting's been paused, there's literally nothing but rubble.
