Ads covering content

Can something be done about the ads. Coming top center of the page down below halfway. Then the ad at the bottom, which I can ignore usually. But combined with the top ads leave only a couple of inches of reading area. I report the ad to google for covering the content, and it's replaced with another in the way ad.

1. I have seen this myself today, and I've just sent an urgent troubleshooting request to DU's ad provider

The ads certainly aren't supposed to be appearing like that. It is definitely an error. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, but it is the weekend so it might take a bit longer than expected...

I'm still waiting on the ad provider, but in the meantime I've made some tweaks to our code which might have temporarily resolved things. Is the rogue ad gone now?

3. Things seem improved. That vertical center stripe covering thread titles is gone right now...
