I think I'm following directions but it keeps going to PayPal which I do Not belong to or ever will. I even got a Text from them.

I Go to One Time Online Payment.. PayPal Not required.. Choose my Amount and Proceed to Payment.. And All I get is PayPal, that says Login with a one time code.

There's No "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option to check out as a guest.

It wasn't exactly like that but I found the link at the bottom of a payypal ad thing.

It was freaking me out having paypal All over the place.

But I have a Star and some Hearts now.. TY!💜

there is a print out form on the du page that lets me mail a check, but may not process before the heart drive ends.

9. I missed that. Apple Pay leaks the email address.

It's hard to tell where the spam is coming from, since that address was leaked by yahoo, LinkedIn, probably Equifax, and numerous others that were hacked.

Guess I'll check out that "Free Smoked Brisket (5.5 lbs) from Walmart in my (junk) inbox. NOT.

I am told that Thiel and Musk are long gone from PayPal.
I don't like them either.

I guess that the email address is "needed" for a confirmation email.
Unlike my case, I suppose that you can use a throwaway email address (?)

I get free aliases that I can deactivate, with iCloud plus, but my relationship with Apple is not going any further.

I hate Cupertino Nazis.

11. Just a word of caution here..

a few years ago, I went through the screens of paypal until I got to the one shown above that has a button to click to pay by credit card. This was the 2nd time I had paid this way. First time - no problem. 2nd time - I did the exact same thing but somehow I ended up with a paypal account that I did not want or consent to. I have no idea how this happened. I did not nor do I now want an account with paypal. I got monthly notices from them showing my account, Finally, after some research and several tries, I was able to close and delete my account.

Now I renew my dues the old fashioned way - send DU a check through snail mail.

I'm so sorry that happened to you!

That's pretty much what I thought might happen to me... It's like they(Peter Thiel) was setting paypal Traps everywhere.

I had actually thought about the Mail In thing but it wouldn't get there in time for a Star... I'm very attached to the Stars.
