the single, main lighting fixture centered above every living room. Ya its, economical. It's also like a blinding mini-sun that makes the space feel like an interrogation room.

Restaurants etc. also have lights that blind your ass, often hanging right above your head, or multiple mini-suns. Forced to keep my sunglasses on. Just annoying as hell and a major pet-peeve.
