If the Chicago Bears Build a New Stadium in Northwest Indiana:

* They should no longer be call the "Chicago" Bears

* Chicago should lure another team to move to Chicago or get an expansion team

* Indiana would have two NFL teams and Illinois (Chicago) none.

* Other than the ancient South Shore Line (the last interurban in America), there is no decent public transportation to get there.

This is a BAD idead!

And even within Chicago. What a stupid idea to move out of state.

It's a silly negotiating ploy. Nobody in Illinois government is taking it seriously.
For one thing, the Indiana legislature is dominated by RWNJs who hate anything Chicago.
They're not going to do anything that would help a team still based in Illinois.
Second, the big money for skyboxes & premium seating comes from North or northwest of the city. Those folks will scream bloody murder if they have to travel 40 miles farther for a game. They could protest by closing their checkbooks
And, they already own that giant piece of property on the NW suburbs.
This is much ado about nothing.
