Save your egg shells for the birds.

Female birds need extra calcium to help them form their own egg shells.
Bake at 250F for 10 minutes. Break into small pieces. mix into bird seed.

I make hard boiled eggs for adding to my dog food so perfect!! Now the birds can have them.

I feed my birds in the winter when the snow covers most of their food. Nice to learn I can help them have healthy chicks.

I'm a bit concerned that people may read only the OP and not the article and just start tossing eggshells (potentially with salmonella) out in the yard.
