I just put on Hockey Night in Canada and boy did they roundly boo our anthem

In Calgary. I can't say that I blame them (but LGRW anyway). What a cluster f*ck.

Detroit's pretty Canadian, anyway, eh?

They are booing trump but we suffer their scorn and derision because stupid Americans vote. Who hates freedom and democracy? The GOP and at least five members of our Supreme Court. Feel free to add to the list.

I went to a Red Wings game in Vancouver very shortly after 9/11. Many fans came to the game with American flags stuffed in their back pockets, and when they played the US anthem, they pulled out their flags and waved them. It reduced me to tears.
