I’m pretty sure he’s going to get the promotion to Yokozuna after that playoff performance! I wasn’t so sure up until today. But, those were not short, quick bouts. He showed great determination and endurance. 💪

4:40 is the start of his run earlier today (yesterday? time zones, man. the final day of the tournament lol)

I love watching sumo. My mom and I would watch sumo together when she was alive. (My dad and I would watch professional wrestling together but that’s a different story). Wife and I went to a sumo exhibit a couple years back and were in awe of their athleticism and how nimble and agile they were, like 300 pound ballerinas. And oh yeah, all of them can do the splits.
