Spring Basho Finally

Sekiwake Wakatakakage defeats Maegashira 7 Takayasu in a playoff match to win the Emperor’s Cup at the Spring Basho in Osaka Japan. Both Rikishi had finished the tournament with 12 -3 records.

My guy Tochinoshin actually went 9 and 6; his first katchi-koshi in over a year.

I was impressed by Wakatakakage. Barring injury, he's going to be a Yokozuna some day.
