It is to laugh - Pop Quiz!

Problem-Solving

This test does not measure your intelligence, your fluency with words
and certainly not your mathematical ability. It will, however, give you
a guage of your mental flexibility and creativity. Few people by
themselves can solve more than half on their first try. Only a group can
arrive at most of the solutions. It's easy to play--each quotation below
contains the initials of words that will make it correct. Find the
missing words.

1. 26 = L. of the A.
2. 7= W. of the A. W.
3. 1001 = A. N.
4. 12 = S. of the Z.
5. 54 = C. in a D. (With the J.)
6. 9 = P. in the S.S.
7. 88 = P.K.
8. 13 = S. on the A.F.
9. 32 = D.F. at which W.F.
10. 18 = H. on a G.C.
11. 90 = D. in a R.A.
12. 8 = S. on a S.S.
13. 3 = B.M. (S.H.T.R.!)
14. 4 = Q. in a G.
15. 24 = H. in a D.
16. 57 = H.V.
17. 11 = P. on a F.T.
18. 1000 = W. that a P. is W.
19. 29 = D. in F. in a L.Y.

At first, I was thinking what the heck?! Then I figured the first one out, and the rest started coming to mind.

I know I'm not an idiot.

First of all, nothing is in quotes.

My brain shut down with the presence of that inconsistency. Put quotes around something and maybe my OCD force field will dematerialize so I can try one.

3825-87867 I like your posts. But right now, I'm sleepy. So, I'm going to bookmark this and see you tomorrow.

Nite!

This might not survive careful scrutiny. The jelly alone is probably more than 54 calories. The creative thinking, though, is brilliant

I am completely non-plussed. And I am not stupid, so-so in my math skills* but generally very creative. I guess that I must be a lonely, rigid-minded bitch because I don't even understand the question and honestly, I'm a little pissed. . . But hey, being non-plussed and pissed at least allows me to use an alliteration, which I always enjoy.

*Attended 125% of my college statistics classes and took three times longer than everyone else in the class to finish the exam, but I got my frickin' A.
