Tales From The Green Valley documentary, farming in 1620

I'm watching British documentaries about farming, archaeology, and living in different centuries. "Tales from The Green Valley," with Ruth Goodman, Alex Langland and Peter Ginn. A brilliant self-trained historian and two archaeologists lived and worked for a full year on a farm dating from 1620, using only the tools and methods of the era. They're knowledgeable, hard working, and charming. Everything from animal husbandry, cooking/baking, milking. making cheese, making quicklime, planting and harvesting, training horses, blacksmithing, building an outhouse! I find this very relaxing at this stressful political time. Free on Youtube. I've watched the 12 episodes several times.

That last, a celebrity contest, is unrelated, but enjoyable. Kirstie Alley and others must survive in very harsh Victorian streets for 24 hours each episode. She brought her humor and humanity to the role.
