National Geographic: America's Last Slave Ship (Full Episode)

Jun 19, 2026 #DrainTheOceans #NationalGeographic #FullEpisode

What was America's last slave ship? Archaeologists investigate a ship wreck that could have been the last ever slave ship to bring Africans to American soil through the trans-Atlantic slave trade. On the night of July 9, 1860, the schooner, Clotilda, disappears off of the coast of Alabama in Mobile Bay. Archaeologists attempt to learn if this wreck is the famed Clotilda, and the physical evidence it could provide on the dark history of the slave trade.
