Gryff has been accepting, if now slightly disinterested, in Merlin from the very beginning. Maybe he had a word with Arthur about the futility of rebelling when mom brings in another kitten.

or do they mainly ignore them? Older dogs never seem impressed by puppies.

At first when they smelled him on my hands, they hissed at me! I just kept presenting my hand and that has ended.

Merlin actually approached Arthur the other morning but this was Arthur's first self instigated direct approach. Gryff has already moved past the curiosity stage. Arthur loves to sit on or next to me so maybe he thinks the only way for that to happen is if he makes nice with the little intruder.

Madoc will come around. He always has. He takes his position of 'first son' very seriously so he can't relent too soon.
