Just the other day Shadow was out in the new barn when
the wind came up.

Her antenna pricked, she rose hoping for breezes to sweep over her.

Alas they didn't, and Shadow lay back down.

But back at the old farm blustery winds used to hit her full face.
She would lie in wait just inside the wide-open barn door.

At times gusts reached 40-50 mph. Shadow got excited.
She'd jump up, take the blast and spin with it.

And dance. Dance with the windy wind.

That's why Shadow loves the wind in her face.
Back then, she liked looking for birds alongside the driveway ~

and barking like crazy when she saw one, or more.

Shadow was fond of running. Fast as she could.

Anywhere she could.

Whenever she could.
.
She chased field mice and even sometimes caught one.

She chased her cat; although KC always outran her.

Then they'd settle down. Share the same sofa ~
CouchPotatoPets.

But, more often than not, Shadow claimed her napping spot.

After dinner she'd take her rest after another busy puppydogday.

Accordingly, inasmuch as life may not be quite as exciting
on the new farm, Shadow does have moments of anticipation.
Life is still good.

The photo with Shadow chasing KC is high energy. I can hear and feel the air whipping through their fur as they kick up some dust, in the chase. They needed to crash on the sofa after that one.
