Later this morning I'm planning on making sausage gravy and biscuits with a few broiled mushrooms and tomatoes on the side, and a pot of hot tea.
I do like a big breakfast on weekends, it feels like a small luxury

Pumpkin seed granola with strawberry Greek yogurt and tangerine, later.

4. Hot Earl Grey

Sautéed pear, raisins, and ginger crystals on top of French toast. Honey vanilla Greek yogurt.

Crispy turkey bacon.

5. Omelet and tots

The omelet has crimini mushrooms, breakfast sausage and American cheese.

6. Black coffee

on the porch with Ducky on a cold and bright morning.

I had a friend and his son over yesterday afternoon. They were helping me with some outside work. It is obvious now that I overdid it physically and will need to go slow today.


Waiting on TJ to return home from work to choose breakfast.

7. Spinach & cheddar omelette

and a slice of Dutch apple pie a bit after that. It’s got fruit in it, right? 🤷‍♀️ I baked up a frozen store bought Dutch apple pie last night and I’m the only one here, so I have to use it up - such a sacrifice lol

I'm still working on the sourdough bread I made.
