What's for Dinner, Tues., Dec. 23, 2025

Crunchy Cauliflower Soup with Sage Oil, I hope. I'm still trying to finish it! It's a complicated recipe which is taking a lot of time. For example, because the recipe is trying to avoid dairy, you use what is called millet or brown rice cream. So you have to make the cream, which requires finished rice be put in a blender.

Tossed green salad with feta cheese and roasted beets.

Kombucha: apple cider flavored.

Dessert: a Baton du Chocolat. It has a shortbread base and is topped with salted caramel and milk chocolate. Malden sea salt on it, too!

Tried a new whole wheat crust recipe that had honey as an ingredient and it came out well. I made a tomato puree based sauce that was quite zesty. Also used vegan mozzarella, a ton of sliced mushrooms, sliced red onion and steamed corn (yes corn). I applied a healthy sprinkling of oregano before baking. Cheers!🥂
