FIRST TIME I've actually cooked in ages,

threw together chopped onion, garlic, chopped potato with chix thighs and stewed tomatoes, + dried basil, Bay leaf, thyme, salt, and some OLD Chianti.

Watching sun descend while I try this out. Ice cream later.

I watched this 4 times in order to get the 3-4 basic ingredients for some of the best food in the world. It's incredible how a few things combine into a delicious treat.

I think I gained 5 pounds just from watching it.

I get his shows via CCNHD(CNN) on my cable channel and I DVR them. I get A Cooks Tour for free on YouTube (everyone does). I get many of his No Reservation shows on CCHD(cooking channel) and via Vimeo (free on any computer).

My advice is to eat BEFORE you watch them since they really make you want something to taste. I salivate during some shows.
