a slice of toasted butterbread with butter, hot tea with sugar and milk.
Usually I don’t eat that heavily this early but had a craving for eggs.

Good Morning!

TJ should be home from work in about an hour. I'll decide about food then.

The pup and I will sit on the porch and observe the dawn if we don't get too cold. It is about freezing out, but so far the colors are worth the chill.

I have oat groats in my rice cooker for breakfast later. I recently discovered them in our local Mennonite bulk store. It’s whole oats—not steel cut or rolled or anything else. Cooked in a rice cooker on the brown rice setting, oat groats make a lovely, slightly chewy hot cereal. Highly recommend if you can find them.
