Avocados

Last edited Sat Feb 1, 2025, 05:32 PM - Edit history (1)

Just returned from shopping.

Likely the last time in a long while before I can buy an avocado the size of my palm for $1.50 if the tariffs actually go through today.

Unrelated topic: I looked at the stacks of my cookbooks and heaved a sigh. It's more than Mexico, Canada, and China. Trump's looking for revenge (not Fentanyl) against the European Union and wants to tariff all those countries. My recipes will cost much more to make due to their ingredients either not being available or prohibitively expensive.
